Brendan is now based in Singapore, and is part of the Red Hat APAC organization, with responsibility for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Virtualisation, and Red Hat OpenStack.
He shoots with Canon and DJI.

Brendan joined IBM in New Zealand in 1986, as a Systems Engineer working with the original IBM Personal Computer. In late 1997, Brendan went to the United States on a four year assignment to the server development organization, as World Wide Product Marketing Manager. During his four years in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, USA, Brendan was responsible for the deployment and introduction of 10 server systems to the world-wide market.

From the USA, Brendan's returned to the IBM Growth Markets Unit (Asia Pacific, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) organisation, as Brand Executive, responsible for the product and brand strategies for System x servers and BladeCenter servers in the Growth Market countries.

In 2012 Brendan took on the role of WW Director of Marketing and Product Line Manager for the WW System x High Volume business, based at IBMs development lab in Taipei, Taiwan.
